FrogBox and Volleyball Australia bring the national championships to everyone
FrogBox is teaming up with Volleyball Australia to bring two of the biggest community events on the Australian volleyball calendar to fans across the country, with live coverage of the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships and Australian Club Volleyball Championships in Perth this September.
The Youth Championships, featuring U14–U18 competition, run from 20–25 September, before the Club Championships take over from 26–28 September.
Across both events, FrogBox will provide continuous, all-day live streaming from two courts, giving players, families, coaches, clubs and supporters the opportunity to follow the action from anywhere.
All streams will be available through FrogBox Play and the Volleyball Australia YouTube channel “@Ausvolley”.
For those who can't make the trip to Perth, streaming means they don't have to miss out. Families can watch from interstate, clubs can follow their teams and supporters can tune in for matches and finals throughout the championships.
Volleyball Australia’s Events Director Verity Hanka said FrogBox’s streaming solution was well suited to the scale of the events.
“We’re really pleased to partner with FrogBox. For an event of this scale, we needed a streaming solution that was affordable and practical to deploy across multiple courts and simple to use, without compromising the quality of the viewing experience. After successful trials using the Frogbox system from our affiliates at Volleyball WA, we are excited to bring that experience to these events.”
For FrogBox, the partnership is another step into volleyball and builds on the growing role live streaming can play across community, club and national sport.
